STEP 1: ORGANIZED OR SOLO?
You’ve picked your dream destination(s), now do you want to do it solo, with friends or as a part of an organized group tour? All options are equally amazing.
STEP 2: DETERMINE LENGTH OF TRIP
Research the destination(s) you’re going to visit. Look for articles such as itineraries for cities, country guides and take note of any major bucket list things to do for you that are a must-do.
STEP 3: ESTABLISH A ROUGH BUDGET
Take a peek at costs for flights, accommodation and activities or tours in the destination(s) that you want to visit so you can make a realistic budget and know exactly how much you need to be saving.
STEP 4: BOOK YOUR TRIP!
If you are travelling to a popular destination during its peak period I recommend booking accommodation in advance. If you are on a longer trip or travelling in an off peak period then you have the luxury of booking accommodation last minute if you choose to.
