It’s very possible that you’ve been getting signs from the universe without even realizing it. In this article I share some signs that you’re already getting, how to ask for a sign from the universe and a bit on interpreting signs from the universe.

These signs are a way to relieve some of the pressure us humans put on ourselves every single day. I used to think that I had to take on so much pressure, so much work and worries.
We have way too much stress in our society these days and I don’t think we’re dealing with it properly. One of the things that helped me relieve some of that stress was understanding and starting to believe that there is a higher power, that there is something else out there in the world helping me.
Believing that it wasn’t just me feeling like I was fighting against everything really helped me let go and leave some of the stress behind.
Understanding that there is something that is helping to guide me, understanding that perhaps there are reasons for why things are happening for you, not to you are major shifts in perspective.
Making that shift in perspective, that things are happening for you and not to you is a huge jump that will really help you see the world and your life in a different light. It’s not that things necessarily change in your life and that things all of a sudden start getting better.
It’s that you look at things in a different way. It’s that simple. Not everything has to change. You just need to open your eyes to see things from a new perspective.
Seeing signs from the universe is just one way to understand and prove to you that you’re already beginning to see things from a new perspective.
It is important to note that we are the creators of our own lives and we work with the universe as co-creators. The universe is there to help us and to give us the little nudges, to point us in the right direction when we get lost, when we get distracted, when we start veering off in the wrong direction. But we still have a responsibility to make things happen for us.
Seeing signs from the universe is believing in a higher power. It allows you to take the pressure off of yourself from making everything happen for you, knowing that you have some guidance really relieves that pressure.
How to spot good signs from the universe
The following are just some examples of positive signs from the universe to show you that the universe really is working in your favour and is here to help you.
Angel Numbers
One of the first and easiest ways to know when the universe gives you signs is to notice angel numbers.
Angel numbers are a series of the same number repeated. An example is 111, 222, 333 and so on. I don’t know very much about numerology, but I do know that the more you see a number repeated, so example 1111 is a stronger message than 111.
The more times you see a number repeated in a row, the stronger the message is. Even if you just see 11, you’re still getting a message. But 111 is going to be stronger and 1111 is going to be even stronger.
Now that you know what angel numbers are, you’re going to begin seeing them everywhere. I noticed my first angel number almost immediately after learning of them!
When you open your eyes to angel numbers and start seeing them is when your belief is going to start getting stronger. You’ll realize that you’re not alone, that the universe really does have your back and that you do have help.
Whether or not you choose to listen to what the angel numbers are saying or what these strong signs from the universe are saying is completely up to you. Just know that when you start to see them more and more that you are shifting your perspective. You’re proving to yourself that you can see things in a new light and a new way.

One of the most common places to spot angel numbers is on license plates. Personally, I notice them most when looking at the time!
Ask the universe for a sign
Another thing you can do to communicate with the universe is to ask for a sign. You need to choose what sign you want. You need to give the universe something to work with.
A sign could be a symbol, a thing, person, number, or whatever it is that comes to you. When you declare “I need a sign from the universe” and ask the universe to show you something specific you’ve opened up a direct line of communication and are showing that you’re ready to listen.
Don’t give up if you don’t see the sign immediately. Just put it out there that you want to see your sign and you will. Personally, it took me over a month to see a sign that I asked for once and it came exactly when I needed it most.
Anxiety
This may sound odd but anxiety is really the universe and your body telling you that something needs to change. You cannot continue doing the same thing over and over and expect things to just go away.
Listen to signs from your body as well as signs that you can physically see. Your intuition and your physical body are just as connected with the universe as your soul is.
Pay very close attention to how you feel physically as well as emotionally. Your body gives you signs frequently that you could be ignoring.
Repetition
You don’t necessarily have to pick a sign to get a sign from the universe. Just hearing the same thing over and over or seeing the same sign over and over could be a sign. For example, having the same book, concept, movie, podcast or the like mentioned by different people could be you receiving signs from the universe.
Tarot cards, animal spirit cards and oracle cards
A very simple way to get signs and to connect to your intuition immediately are pulling cards. A single card can be pulled daily or you can use spreads to ask for different answers, depending on the type of question you ask.
It’s important to note that cards don’t tell you your future or what to do. You don’t ask yes or no questions. They just help guide you to what you already know. They allow you to see the answer that’s already inside you. They just assist in bringing it to your awareness so that you can make the best decision for yourself.
